• Served as a scientific leader in ADC and targeted drug delivery innovation, guiding internal and external technology evaluation, shaping business development strategy, and leading high impact in licensing initiatives • Directed cross functional project teams to advance programs from early discovery through pre IND stages, recognized expert in ADC linker, payload, and target selection, spanning cytotoxic agents, immunostimulatory payloads, and protein degraders. • Provided scientific leadership across a portfolio of 10+ ADC programs, contributing to every major aspect of ADC development from concept through translational execution. Inventor or co inventor on three patent filings covering novel payload and linker technologies. • Coordinated CMC and downstream manufacturing activities with CRO partners in San Diego and China, acting as a technical consultant for process development, troubleshooting, and scale up optimization from gram to kilogram scale in industrial settings.

Postdoctoral associate with Prof. David Spiegel (Chemistry Department) and Prof. Donald Engelman (Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry Department): • Led translational chemical biology and drug delivery research resulting in two platform technologies with direct commercial impact. • Served as lead chemist on a $2M Bristol Myers Squibb–sponsored program, designing antibody recruiting molecules for tumor targeted therapy; work formed the foundation of Kleo Pharmaceuticals. • Developed pHLIP based targeted drug delivery systems incorporating diverse linkers and cytotoxic payloads; technology out licensed to Cybrexa Therapeutics and advanced to Phase I clinical trials. • Acted as co inventor on a tumor selective prodrug platform, progressing concepts through preclinical development, scale up, and patent filing; platform formed the basis of Cytosolix, Inc. • Managed CRO collaborations and mentored 8 trainees (graduate and undergraduate).

Graduate researcher in Prof. Daesung Lee’s lab. Pioneered alkyne chelated ruthenium alkylidene chemistry and multiyne functionalization; authored 9 peer reviewed publications with 600+ citations.

Master researcher in Prof. Hsing-Jang Liu’s lab. Focus on synthesis of potential p38 kinase inhibitors regulates gene expression of Interleukin-1. Synthesized more than 100 compounds for SAR screening.
