Microsoft 365 AI Platform Leading a geo-distributed team of ~30 people in a highly matrixed organization, by leveraging principles of borderless collaboration, customer obsession and unconditional responsibility. Delivering high-value and high-quality content and signal data in a compliant manner to data scientists, thereby enabling them to build AI infused intelligent experiences in Microsoft Office products to delight and improve productivity for our end customers.

Shared Data Platform (July 2016-Mar 2019) Led a team of ~15 people delivering core M365 telemetry and usage datasets across Office products, in order to enable business insights and controlled feature releases. - Delivered joint wins by building partnership across multiple teams from where the data was sourced, and with the team reporting on business insights to LT. - Led the design and implementation of the data service for the incubating Cortana product, which supported engineering agility, business metrics, experimentation and machine learning scenarios. - Evolved the Office Client data service design with a low latency design, to enable controlled feature roll-out and experimentation. Office Telemetry (Aug 2014-Jul 2016) Led the team to establish the foundation of telemetry-as-a-service, by building the infrastructure to efficiently and reliably ingest and process data from all office clients worldwide. The telemetry and resulting insights enabled us to deliver Office 2016 at high quality with confidence.

Office Telemetry (Dec 2012-Aug 2014) Delivered on a common set of telemetry reports to the organization for the usage, error and availability system health data; along with a rationalized approach for teams that wanted to build their own (advanced) reports. Office Deployment and Services Infrastructure (Jun 2010-Dec 2012) Led a cross-team, cross-discipline effort to build a platform, including a client SDK and a cloud settings storage service, to enable a personalized cross-device experience for Microsoft Office 2013 users. Onboarded several scenarios, such as most-recently-used documents, onto the platform successfully.

SharePoint Designed, implemented and successfully delivered multiple administrative features for SharePoint Server 2003, Office SharePoint Server 2007, SharePoint Online 2014. Features included federated services farm upgrade, software licensing capabilities to enable various marketing product SKUs, cross-version and cross-sku upgrades, and patching.

Worked in the area of web application development and three-tier client server applications, leveraging Java, Servlets, XML and IBM WebSphere Application server.
