JCU Student Ambassador 2019 & 2020- Assisting with events throughout the year to provide prospective students with an insight into JCU. My main focus is on the College of Business, Law and Governance, where I promote and encourage students to undertake a Business degree.

* Completed four weeks of work experience at BDO (Nth Qld). Following this, I will be working as an Assistant Accountant at BDO (Nth Qld). * This vacation program includes: * An Audit case study * An Advisory (Digital Accounting) case study * and * In addition to two weeks of work experience in Business Services

* Locally owned and operated by the Woodward family, The CaPTA Group operates tours and attractions in Cairns, Tropical North Queensland, Australia. It consists of Rainforestation Nature Park, Wildlife Habitat, Cairns ZOOm & Wildlife Dome, Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, Tropic Wings Cairns Tours & Charters, Jungle Tours, and the Careers Training Centre. * Main tasks and responsibilities include: * Office duties: Processing mail, data entry, sorting and filing, and generating reports from various companies, correspondence via email to external suppliers * Using Accounting Software: ATTACHE * Maintaining petty cash, preparing cheques and daily banking deposits for multiple companies * AP/AR * Processing fortnightly and monthly payments to suppliers for Cairns Zoom and Wildlife Dome, and the Careers Training Centre * Generating invoices: intercompany and external customers * Processing bank reconciliations
