Interning at NICE, TL@NTU Doing FPGA Development things. • Explored usage of Semi-Invasive Analysis Techniques (i.e., Photon Emission Laser Probing) to study Scan Chain in 32 bits Microcontrollers (MCU); aim to identify potential modes for larger control over DUT. • Programmed a 4- bit adder architecture with scan chain integrated in VHDL and deployed on AMD Kintex 7 FPGA. • Developed all software, test sequence and control electronics to emulate test sequences for device using STM32 in C++. • Assisted research staff to conduct experiments with Semi-Invasive Analysis.

Space Systems Engineering Intern (R&D)

- Designed and developed PCBs for power distribution, temperature measurement, and grounding in the ELITE mission. - Optimized power consumption of Hall Effect Thrusters below 150 W by modifying software ignition sequences, and engaged in debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality. - Developed an Arduino Mega shield for comprehensive functionality testing of components. - Wrote a Python script to decode communications received from the satellite in Strider Mission - Modified Python-based GUI using PyQT framework for thruster testing software with tables and grid/combined plots for improved data visualization and analysis.

The itinerary involved sessions on 3D printing, Information of Things and Smart Cities(IoT), Genomics, Artificial Intelligence and Introduction to Machine Learning, Robotics and driverless cars, Principles of Synthetic biology, Systems Thinking Workshop, Introduction to Multidisciplinary Research and Student presentations. Student presentations involved designing and delivering projects based on what we had learnt in the course of the workshop. These included:- 1. A simple video game designed via machine learning 2. A system for with multiple sources of revenue for a fishing village 3. Making and presenting the science behind super-powers such as invisibility and how that can be achieved in coming years 4. Designing a 3D silicon mask strap using a 3D printing software

The itinerary involved a Gastronomy Workshop, Wavelet Lecture, Physics Lab demonstrations, DNA Workshop, 3D Printing Workshop, Microscopy and Mathematics Workshop, Nanotechnology Lecture and Smartphone Microscope demonstration. Physics Extension of the camp: demonstrations of optical tweezers, Luthenium ion Atomic clock, the scanning electron microscope, x-ray crystallography, atomic force microscope, spectrophotometry of fluorescent materials and stargazing sessions.
