Resource Elastic Dynamic Stream Processing on FPGAs Exemplified on Database Acceleration

Worked in the final stages of design of the Far Infrared Thermal Sensor Array MLX90640 as part of the Mixed Signal Design and Layout Department. Designed and implemented simulation tests and verified digital blocks within the design. Designed and implemented scripts for communication and full automatic testing of digital modules that are used for verification of physical chips in different stages of production.

• Worked on improving the laboratory coursework in a Masters course at the School of Computer Science. • Introduced ARM assembly programming of multiple core processors, profiling programs and simulating custom systems using an open source simulator that is used in the industry. • Deepened my knowledge in various areas of software and hardware development and testing. • Managed my own time, schedule and approach, while meeting the set deadlines.
