In my daily work as a designer for Culture, I normally took part of following: - Finding inspiration and making colors cards for the yearly 4 Main Collections, 2 Fair Collections + 4 Express Collections. - Making all product groups: Jackets, pants, jeans, dresses, knits, blouses, t-shirts, scarfs in woven & jersey. - Fitting on models and daily contact with suppliers all over the world. - Traveling to China and India to visit the suppliers and start up new styles, + going to fabric markets. - In cooperation with buying department, working with prices. - Representation of Collections to sales meetings. - Going to Fashion fairs. - Inspirationtrips to ex. Milan, Paris, Londin, New York, Antwerpen, Amsterdam. https://www.culture.dk

In my daily work at the Plussize brand Zizzi,I worked as the express department. In generell my worktasks was as following: - In cooperation with the rest of the team, to make 8 Years express Collections. - Find colors for the season, making moodboards, searching for fabrics+ trim at the suppliers. - Painting the Collection + making sample request. - Daily contact with suppliers, - here it was was very important to take some fast decisions, and be able to have many many things going on at the same time. - Fitting on model together with pattern design. Here I learned a lot about different bodytypes, and how to make the best shapes fitting most people + how to use cutlines to highlight the nice curves of the body + how to pick the best materials for the different styles. - Preparing for sales meetings/Fashion fairs. https://www.zizzi.dk
