* Coordination and supervision of the Implementation of service projects and grant projects. * Supervision and control of preparation of Tender documents and Calls for Proposals. * Organisation and planning of the work of Project Managers within Section and of the tasks according to the Procurement Plan. * Preparation of Tender documentation and Call for Proposals, * Everyday liaison with the Consultants from different Project Teams; * Harmonization of simultaneous work of different project teams within the same institution; * Updating Internal supplementary guidelines and Manual of Procedures for Decentralised Implementation System; * Preparation and conducting of In-house trainings for the newly recruited staff (project managers, contracting specialists, finance specialists…) * Preparation and conducting of trainings on PCM to the PIUs (Project Implementation Units) staff * Preparation and conducting of trainings on PCM and project implementation to the potential grant beneficiaries

* Involved in preparation of Manual of Procedures for Decentralised Implementation System for the Department for Financing and Contracting of IPA Programme, * Writing Internal Supplementary Guidelines for Service contracts and Grant Schemes * Preparation of Tender and Grant documents for EU funded projects according to EC rules and regulations (PRAG). * Supervision of implementation of the projects, approval of reports and expenditures, * Conducting On-the-spot checks, * Dissemination of knowledge through in-house and other trainings. * Presentations on PRAG rules, grant contract and general rules for the preparation and implementation of a IPA funded grant project during info days to the potential beneficiaries

* Coordination of the Croatian language lectorates at the Foreign Universities, * Coordination of the activities of the Committee, * Communication with Diplomatic Missions and Consular Offices of and to Croatia * Preparation of documentation for the employment and working permissions of the lectors, assistance in preparation of travel and housing arrangements

* Involved in preparation of procedures for management of European Social Fund (ESF) in Croatia within the Managing Authority for ESF; * Preparation and implementation of ESF projects, * Coordination and supervision of the work of Department for Implementation of Technical Assistance in activities related to programming, implementation, financing and monitoring of EU funded projects * Contributes to the design and formalisation of MLPS procedures (MLPS Manuals). * Reviews the controls and checks performed by the subordinated staff of MLPS on Control Project Implementation for individual projects and their subsequent management Ensures that reporting procedures of the Department staff are timely and correctly applied. * Preparation of projects under IPA component I and IV

* Working as a project manager or team member on advisory projects related to the following areas: - EU programs and projects preparation * Capacity building of public institutions * process improvement, performance management, risk management * Socio-economic studies about development needs of different sectors and policy areas like SMSs, innovation, education and labor market * Information gathering such as interviews and surveys, reviewing existing research reports, performing workshops and conducting analytical tasks like data analysis and comparison, cost benefit analysis, feasibility analysis * Preparing tender documentation for public procurement.
