- Full accounting & controlling responsibility for start-up JV in bioplastics. - Set up, recruited & managed operational finance team (2 FTE). - Defined & implemented cash flow planning, financial processes, system & reporting structures to assure reliable financial information, both internal (management reporting) & external (financial statements). - Evaluated business case for first commercial production plant. - Facilitated & supported JV exit negotiations with financial analysis & advice.

- Coordinated Utility Controlling team (2 FTE) responsible for forecasting, cost price calculations, investment analysis for utilities (including waters) of BASF’s production site in Antwerp. - Structured & optimized work processes to improve business partnering. - Redesigned costing models in line with volatile market dynamics. - Analyzed business cases & provided economic rationale for large investment decisions in utility infrastructure.

- Budgeting, forecasting, cost price calculations, investment planning for Central Tank Farm, Logistics & Finance department of BASF’s production site in Antwerp. - Supported business carve outs by defining contract proposal & pricing strategy for continuation of services.

Designed new cost accounting model for K.U.Leuven to create cost transparency required for optimization of research project and government funding.

- Supplier management, contract & price negotiations, TCO optimization. - Led crisis project to resource globally used critical component.

Setup of local purchasing department & process at BMW Belgium Luxembourg based on ‘best practices’ exchange with/to BMW UK.
