Photography has always been a passion of mine. I often tell clients being a Photographer is a lot like being an Athlete, either you can do it and be great at it naturally, or you can't. I have met so many great friends and developed friendships of a lifetime through my Photography. It has been one of the biggest blessings in my life, after my family of course! I love every minute I spend doing photography whether it is out on-location shooting or sitting behind my desk editing. I NEVER consider a day a photography work, I do not relate the word "work" with anything I do involving my photography business. The minute I do, would be the time I would to step back for a break because I would not be truly enjoying it. With this said, I can say I am living the life of the old saying "Love what you do and you will never work a day of your life."

I worked in the Information Services field for over 20 years. Straight from High School I accepted my 1st job at a printing company where I remained for the next 12 years. In 2004 I made the move to Alcoa Fastening Systems to which I spent the next 11 years. I love the work I do on the computer and even more so I enjoyed being the lady to call when users needed help with anything computer related . Planning, Developing, Analyzing, Reporting, yes, all the nerdy things that normally interest and employ men. I was the one female on a team of 7 IS Professionals that supported world wide locations. Every day was a challenge and that is what made the job so interesting and enjoyable! In June 2015 after much deliberating I made a huge change and 'retired' from AFS. I remain the go-to person for all computer related questions for my friends, family and local schools that my kiddos attend, it's in my blood and I will always have a love for working in the IS field one way or another. I look forward to whatever the next chapter in my life may be! I continue to study for certifications as I know from experience if you do not use it, you will loose it!
