I worked in the communications department at the Ginna Power Plant as the only communications specialist. I worked on creating company annoucements and the bi-monthly newsletter. I provided internal public relations for more than 600 employees. I also created presentations for upper management.

I was a production assistant for "Bakery Good Times," featuring Buddy Valastro. We created a pilot episode that told the story of a family struggling to keep their bakery. A production team gathered in Frankfort, NY and spent a week working more than 12 hour days to make sure the shoot finished on time. I managed over 300 extras, took their picutres and had them fill out paperwork. I was also the main source of transportation, I provided meals for the cast and got any needed materials.

I was the associate producer for "The First 48" in Rochester, NY. Our film crew had three people. We followed homicide cases with the investigators to see how cases were solved. I was the main source of communication between Rochester and our production company in New York. I logged tapes for the field producers and managed all of the releases we procured in the field. I also wrote weekly updates.

As an intern at 13 Wham, I learned how a newsroom operates, helped to write web stories and shadowed reporters, producers, anchors and directors in the field.

I was the associate producer for the morning news program. I wrote teases, printed all the scripts for the morning shows and helped write scripts for the afternoon show. I was also the weekend desk assignment editor. I would decide which stories were news-worthy and send photographers to cover them. I created all the online content on the weekend for the main news website, Facebook and Twitter.

I am a Communications Associate in the Marketing and Communications department at United Way of Greater Rochester. I create and post all company social media, plan company events and help others when they plan an event, help with our Women's Leadership Council events, provide daily news to all employees, send out all company e-mails to our local community members and edit/proofread documents that come out of our department.
