Kristen Boncore

Kristen graduated from Mount Ida College in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design. Shortly after graduation she accepted a position at Ethan Allen as a design consultant. It was in this position that her confidence strengthened working directly with clients. After working at Ethan Allen for about a year, Kristen accepted a position as a designer at Design 1 Kitchen and Bath. It has been at this position that her confidence, experience and skill set have taken incredible shape. She worked as a designer for about 10 years where she was responsible for space planning, material selection, estimating and project management. She not only communicates directly with clients, but also reps, manufacturers, and contractors to ensure each project runs as smoothly as possible for everyone involved. She takes great pride in her communication, organization skills, and problem solving throughout each project. Kristen was promoted to Designer/Showroom Manager at the beginning of 2024. Now she is not only responsible for her individual clients, but also every project throughout the company. She manages 2 designers and works alongside 3 project managers. It is in this position she delegates tasks such as designs, estimates, tile drawings, project management tasks, etc. Design is an incredibly strong passion for Kristen. She takes great pride and joy in working with clients to make a space unique to them.
