Possesses financial and business experience necessary to understand the actuals, forecast, and underlying business drivers to proactively provide financial support to the asset and operational insights to the financial groups. Leads accounting subject matter presentations and discussions with Asset and Planning leadership and acts as a financial liaison between Operations, Planning, and Accounting to coordinate necessary cross functional activities and process integration. Also liaises with Internal/External auditors to ensure they have necessary information for audits. Assists with establishing streamlined processes and solutions for accurate and efficient accounting including creating training & communication of advanced accounting policies, guidelines, and processes to help build financial acumen in the asset. Responsible for asset level performance analytics including building custom reports and budget tracking for capital commitments to support the asset, planning, and legal requirements.
