Provided training to adults with persistent and severe mental illness in the areas of medication management, symptom management, coping skills, daily living skills, and developing natural supports in order to obtain/maintain stable, integrated housing and/or employment. Provided adults and families involved in the program with individual, group, and family skills training in these areas in order to increase their ability to function with Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and other mental illnesses. -Case management experience that included familiarity with community resources as well as knowledge in working with a variety of agencies, including Child Protective Services, Adult Protective Services, and the Veterans Administration. -Provision of psychosocial assessments and referrals to appropriate agencies based upon an individual’s needs and capabilities. -Experience completing intakes, assessments, and discharge planning.

Provided coordination and supervision to all children and youth day treatment programs, including individual and family therapy, case management services, and crisis screenings as needed. Each phase of treatment required an in-depth knowledge of various diagnostic categories, ability to determine the appropriate diagnosis, and provision of individual, family, and group therapy. Children and families involved in day treatment possessed any of a spectrum of disorders including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and others. -Served as liaison to district referral sources and provided intake and transition planning. -Participated in public relations and community development to promote programs and develop referral and funding sources. -Completed program evaluation of each program and implemented changes to ensure appropriate clinical outcomes with measurable progress toward treatment objectives. -Supervised and provided training and clinical guidance to staff, student interns, and volunteers.
