About
Hey there!, my name is Krishnaprasad, A Master's Student in Computer Engineering (Electrical Engineering) at Arizona State University, Tempe, with a focus on advancing skills in cutting-edge technologies and research. Focusing on Embedded systems, Multimedia and Signal processing. Electronics and Communication Engineering Graduate (July 2021), with a passion for technology and developing strategies and algorithms. Worked as an Engineer at Qualcomm India in the Multimedia Team from March 2022 till July 2024 working on upcoming XR (Extended Reality) chipsets including multiple AR/VR/MR chipsets for various Market Leaders (Meta, Samsung, Microsoft). Part of the team responsible for the commercialisation of XR2 GEN2, AR1 Gen1 and the upcoming XR chipsets. My role has a Primary focus on the Video Encoder/Decoder side along with Reprojection technologies, Multi-View HEVC in Video and Computer Vision. Started my Career as a software engineer in the field of embedded systems at Gadgeon Smart Systems Pvt Ltd. Developed utilities and features in C++ and Python in a Linux OS environment and familiar with SNMP and other custom protocols. In the future, I see myself growing as a programmer working on various bleeding-edge technologies and products that can revolutionize the technological ecosystem as well as the common man's life. In pursuit of bridging the gap between a layman and technology. If you don't find me online or in front of a laptop/PC you can head up to the hills and we'll probably meet someplace along the way.
