LightMetrics provides a camera agnostic s/w solution that extracts insights from dash cam video in real-time. Voice notifications help drivers avoid accidents. For non-compliances such as speeding, distracted driving, tail gating, etc., a report is created for the event, including a video snippet & uploaded to the cloud. Analytics & event videos for the fleet manager are available through REST APIs or through an analytics portal that can be whitelabeled. Worked in Nokia Technologies' Imaging business, research and development of new computational imaging methods From my work at Nokia, there are 11 granted patents and many pending review. Several projects I contributed to have shipped as features in Nokia phones. Served on the imaging patenting board for Nokia - part of a worldwide committee that evaluated employees' submitted invention reports to decide whether or not the company would file a patent for it

Worked on computational imaging and computer vision algorithms.

Research, development and productization of image processing and computer vision algorithms, in particular, worked on face algorithms. Improved existing face detection models through better training algorithms to get better models. Face detection formed the foundation for various face algorithms implemented in Nokia phones including face recognition, face clustering, red eye detection and removal, etc.

Worked on the development of novel image and video processing algorithms. Contributed towards the development of video stabilization, auto tone mapping for image enhancement, print imaging, anti shake algorithm, etc. Obtained a good understanding of the working of an image signal processor (ISP). Three IPRs were generated from the work at Insilica.

I was one of the first members of the team that worked on development of algorithms for an image signal processor(ISP) in Emuzed. In addition to ISP algorithms like defective pixel correction, demosaicing, white balance, lens shading, etc, I also worked on image enhancement algorithms like exposure correction(lighting correction in photos) etc. 3 US Patent applications have been filed from my work in Emuzed/Aricent.
