Site manager for Hovis RDC responsible for a £4.5m budget delivering 2.8m cases over 1.2m miles per annum.

I manage both drivers and warehousemen for a Hovis bakery in Eastleigh, Hampshire. In this position I oversee multi-drop radial routes and trunking links between other bakeries as well as a warehouse team all of which work within 24 hour operation the year round. This involves allocating, resourcing and managing both agency and permanent staff to ensure a safe, legal and efficient turnaround in a very fast moving operation based on a short shelf-life product.

Radial (class 2) delivery driver. Stock picking from warehouse, loading, securing and delivering to supermarket and convenient chains. Responsible for time management, invoice handling and customer relations.

Receiving, unloading and prioritising goods deliveries from both internal and external suppliers. Organising of goods in stock and distribution of it to colleagues for replenishing.
