If I have to describe myself in one word, it will be EFFICIENT. Born in Benin, i have been exposed to different cultures through traveling and discovery since childhood. I hold two (2) master’s degree, and MBA in Energy and Sustainability. I have travelled to over fifty (50) Countries including high risk country while developing company activities. And i am easy adaptable to different environments and cultures. My cumulative woking experiences and life style have helped me to develop a strong intercultural behaviour and getting familiar with people from all over the world. with over 15 years working experiences, I have developed active and dynamic approach to work and getting things done, I have achieved numbers of remarkable results through my carrier by breaking whatever record has been existing before i hold my hand at any duty. I am a dedicated, organised, methodic and very strategic individual. I have good interpersonal skills, and an excellent team worker and team Leader. I am keen and very willing to learn and develop new skills. As life is full of discovery, I am keen to continue exploring greater challenges.

Since 2018, Mr. Hadyr Koumakpai has established and structured JA Solar's Africa Department, laying the foundation for a strong and sustainable regional organization. As the leader of the Africa region, he has also promoted a proactive policy of integrating and developing African talent within local teams. Today, JA Solar operates from 21 African countries and supplied 49 countries in Africa. The regional organization implemented by Mr. Koumakpai is based on four sub-regional divisions: West Africa, East Africa, North Africa, and Southern Africa. Each of these divisions is led by a regional director who reports directly to him and manages complete teams, including sales, logistics, legal, and administrative functions. Under his leadership, JA Solar has been number one in Africa for the past five consecutive years, consolidating its dominant position on the continent. In 2025 alone, more than 4.5 GW of solar modules were delivered in Africa. Today, more than 25% of large-scale solar power plants installed in Africa are equipped with modules supplied by JA Solar, positioning the company as a key player in the continent's energy development. He has contributed to several landmark projects, including: • Egypt: participation in Africa's largest solar power plant, with a total capacity of approximately 1.1 GW; • South Africa: more than 1.5 Gw delivered in various utility-scale projects; • Morocco: More than 200 MW installed; • Senegal: nearly 60 MW deployed; • Mauritania: approximately 50 MW supplied; • as well as numerous other projects across the continent. These achievements illustrate his significant contribution to strengthening African energy capacity, diversifying the energy mix, and achieving national energy transition and sustainable development goals

Mr. Koumakpai was in charge of developing mining activities and also oversaw corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects, including the deployment of solar solutions in rural areas. He subsequently launched the Solar for Africa initiative within the company. In this capacity, his main responsibilities included conducting in-depth analyses of rural energy sectors in various countries, initiating and proposing public policies to encourage investment, and designing innovative solutions for solar development in rural areas. He developed energy projects across the African continent, identifying agricultural associations, SMEs, and other local stakeholders to understand their needs for reliable energy. He also established cost-effective, affordable, and easy-to-manage business structures adapted to local realities. Through his work, he successfully led the development of five major projects, notably in Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Tanzania, Benin, Zimbabwe, and Mali.
