Korir Amos

I’m Korir Amos, a dedicated and hands-on professional in the renewable energy and electrical installation space. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Renewable Energy & Biofuels Technology from Kibabii University, and I’m also certified in Electrical Installation by the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA). My career journey began with practical roles during my industrial attachment at Go Solar Systems Ltd and an internship at Chameleon Solutions Ltd, where I worked as a Solar Technician Intern. These experiences gave me a strong foundation in solar PV installation, system maintenance, and troubleshooting. In addition to my training, I’ve gained valuable field experience working on construction sites, handling electrical installations and maintenance tasks. I’ve also worked independently as a freelance electrician, delivering solar and electrical solutions to a range of clients. Currently, I serve as a Technical Sales Engineer at Megawatt Energies Ltd, where I bridge the gap between technical expertise and client needs, offering reliable, Tier 1 solar solutions including Jinko Solar panels, lithium batteries, and hybrid inverters. I’m passionate about providing energy-efficient systems that support a more sustainable future. I’m driven by a commitment to innovation, quality service, and continuous improvement. I believe in staying up to date with emerging technologies to remain effective and relevant in the ever-evolving energy sector.
