Korey Pimental

Creative and mission-driven arts and nonprofit professional with experience in development, fundraising, strategic partnerships, and community engagement. Originally from New Bedford, MA, I bring a unique blend of artistic insight and operational expertise to the nonprofit and arts sectors, particularly in advancing accessibility, equity, and inclusive cultural experiences.Currently serving in development and strategic partnerships roles, including in my work with the Society of Women Engineers, I collaborate across organizational teams to build meaningful donor relationships, expand institutional support, and foster community-centered initiatives that drive impact. My background spans development management, marketing communications, and nonprofit operations, grounded in a belief that arts and philanthropy should be accessible and people-first.I hold an MFA in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University, where I also deepened my leadership and advocacy work within the arts. In addition to professional development roles, I’ve participated as a fellow with the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Chicago Chapter, which I believe is a testament to my commitment to ongoing learning and advancing best practices in fundraising and nonprofit leadership.Passionate about creating equitable opportunities, I aim to leverage my cross-disciplinary experience to help mission-driven organizations grow their impact, strengthen community ties, and cultivate transformative cultural experiences.
