As a Creative, I work on a majority of tasks on the Creative-Media team. I’ve found that I am the most diverse and multifaceted member on the team because my creativity extends to various roles including filming, editing (videos and photos), film directing, graphic designing, photography, etc. I've dabbled — with excellence — in every area of this team.

As Creative Director, I manage a team of over 15 people. I oversee social media postings, emails, and graphic content. I also direct film projects and train members in areas, such as videography, video editing, graphic design, email writing, and photography. Being part of this team has taught me to set boundaries and allow team members to challenge themselves and experience their own growth.

As a direct support professional, I monitored my client to ensure safety regarding medical, health, behavioral, and environmental issues. I also provided clinical services where I observed and recorded my client’s behavior to assess the level of functioning. Based on the assessments, plans were implemented to foster improvement in client’s conduct. Behaviors, incidents, progress, etc. were documented and reported to assigned therapist. Other duties were performed as directed by supervisor. I received continued feedback on how my client experienced significant growth and improvement in behavior since I began working with her.

I served as a role model and encouraged my students personal and academic development. I assisted my students with science projects. I coordinated study halls and tutoring to promote learning. I also made sure that my students were focused on their assignments and served as a supervisor for any off-campus activities. Teaching third graders at an after-school program brought me joy. I enjoyed being their teacher, tutor, and mentor.

As a visual merchandiser and sales associate, I maintained excellent customer service. I ensured that customers had a comfortable shopping experience. In addition to my various roles at ZARA, I handled high volume phone calls throughout my shifts. I also managed product placement to market new, on-sale, and other pieces to customers. Working with ZARA not only gave me insight into the world of marketing, but it also gave me opportunities to understand management.

As a sales associate, I ensure quality customer service. I assisted customers with merchandise of their interest and also aided with design planning. Additionally, I answered high volume phone calls to help customers with any questions they may have. I assisted my managers with job training for new hires, as well. Working at Homegoods got me to understand how retail works and helped me to adjust to a fast paced environment. I was also exposed to meeting many kinds of people from all over the world.
