- Drafted an acquisition agreement for investment by a Singapore based logistics company in an Indian logistics company. - Assisted in the conducting of due diligence on a Singaporean skincare company and preparing the due diligence report; assisted in the drafting of a sale and purchase agreement for the purchase of the Singaporean skincare company and assisted in Completion and Post-Completion matters. - Advised a Japanese travel agency on: any restrictions on investing in the Indian travel sector; on the guidelines for recognition as a travel agent in India; the applicability of any restrictions on an existing joint venture partner when starting an independent venture in India; term-sheet on a proposed joint venture to be based in India and assisted in the drafting of a confidentiality agreement between and Indian and a Japanese travel agency. - Assisted in preparing Rajah & Tann LLP’s response to the liberalization of the Indian legal sector. - Researched on the legal framework in Singapore regarding event data recorders and the applicability of any legislation to them vis-à-vis the use of such data. -Researched on the legal framework in Singapore regarding the licence required for the distribution of an online game.
