I had 6 years of working experience in manufacturing field, previously worked as a production planner & current title is marketing buyer. Mainly responsible for sourcing & evaluating new suppliers according to company policies & department objectives (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale, Safety). In my 1st year of service, I had managed to achieve 20% cost saving on all kinds of purchases (Direct material, service, transportation & logistics cost etc.) through below methods - Monthly cost review base on material, currency, process, logistic & packing. - Negotiation with existing vendors/contractors for quotation review/contract extension. - Localized almost 60% of material source from Europe to Asia (Malaysia, China & India) for company new expansion project. - Centralized purchasing, combine orders with HQ aids finding the best deal from single supplier. - Establish an organized & optimum level of supply chain in order to support daily plant operations, cut down nearly 30% of unnecessary transportation/logistics cost.
