- Implement best practices of modern principles of Supply Chain Management; - Drive process improvements in the supply chain which lead to reduced costs and lead times; - Manage the forecasting, material planning, MRP and MRB processes as they relate to manufacturing; - Develop sourcing strategies and cultivate strong supplier relationships; - Contribute to the strategic direction of the Company;

- Providing competitive bill of materials (BOM) cost to support all Business Units (BU) Engineering / Marketing on winning new business RFQ, best BOM cost are estimated / quoted w/ knowledge on suppliers manufacturing capability, process and material cost. - Create and execute New Products Introduction material supply plan to meet each factory, Project Management mass production schedule and reduce factory CNC, tooling, premium cost; create preliminary sourcing plan for Preferred Manufacturer List (PML) / Preferred Part List (PPL) to minimize total cost and reduce supply complexity. - Lead new model BOM sourcing review wit BU design team to achieve best BOM cost and quality, define critical to quality on vendor manufacturing capability and engineering warehouse PPL component management and replenishment. - Leading BOM cost review and driving BOM cost reduction at each New Product Development stage (RFQ, EVT, DVT, PVT to Mass Production at factory) and drive risk buy to support new model schedule and factory ramp-up. - Managing Maintenance & Repair Ordering (MRO) team on all indirect material purchase, machinery & automation equipment sourcing and facilities support purchase, etc. cover all China operation facilities.

- To be responsible for supervising the sourcing process of new components and alternative components of the existing products, - To be responsible for leading the price negotiation on new & alternative components, - To be responsible for supervising & monitoring the delivery of orders to support daily operations and simulation of production ramp-up, - To be responsible for the cost reduction process on responsible commodities on a half-year basis, and - To be responsible for project implementation of Emerson Energy Systems on supplier's pricing.

- To be responsible for purchase / sales of machinery, equipment, mechanical / electrical / electronics parts and commercial hardware items at the most economically favorable terms for all joint-ventures, - To be responsible for establish and maintenance of all global contract and price agreement for cost savings on all purchase on spare parts, - To be responsible for implement the de-centralization of spare parts purchase to all joint ventures, - To be responsible for purchase of machinery and sub-contractor works for the establishment of new joint venture plants, and - To be responsible for revise and control of Purchasing Procedure Manual for the purchase and supply of goods and services under ISO9000.

- To be responsible for process development and modification, material (direct/indirect) approval, failure analysis and process evaluation, and - To be responsible for the selection and evaluation for new tooling and equipment for the process modification / improvement.
