Ex-Cell was established in 1993 by founder and Director KK Garg. What started out as liaison office for a US Importer Ex-Cell/Croscill/Glenoit, quickly became an Independent Sourcing Company for several importers all over the Globe. Ex-Cell Home Fashions (India) Private Limited, is today one of the widely acclaimed companies engaged in the sourcing of Home Textiles products like Bedding, Bath, Window, Table & Kitchen Linen, Floor Coverings, Hard Goods and many more. Today Ex-Cell has grown to a dynamic team of merchandisers, Q/C’s, logistics & accounts, looking into Product Development, Merchandising & Order Management, Quality Assurance Department, Logistics & Compliance. If needed, we also use the services of specialized designers on a project basis. • We follow rigorously on quality assurance inspections at factories using the AQL 2.5 method and have dedicated QCs for each factory for monitoring and assuring quality. • Besides online inspection by our QCs, we also get random quality tests conducted in accredited labs like SGS, ITS, MTL for quality assurance. • We commit ourselves to provide our customers safe quality products manufactured in clean and hygienic environments. • We ensure Timely Delivery with regular follow ups & updates. In 1993, Ex-Cell Home Fashions started sourcing globally by opening there offices in Hong Kong and India. I got the opportunity to head there India operations and was responsible for sourcing from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Ex-Cell's core businesses are shower curtains, shower curtain hooks, tension rods, bath mats, tablecloths, placemats, napkins, and napkin rings. In 2003, Ex-Cell Home Fashions Inc was acquired by Glenoit LLC, further expanding its product assortment which includes Kitchen rugs, Area rugs, Indoor & Outdoor rubber and coir mats. Further Patriarch Partners purchased Ex-Cell, Glenoit and Croscill in 2008.

DII is a wholesale import company that does functional kitchen textiles, table linens, gifts and decorative accessories for the home year around. I was responsible for all the sourcing of this company from India starting from Product development to Shipping.
