For nearly two decades, I’ve been at the intersection of technology and public safety — from the early days of IT infrastructure to building one of India’s most trusted AI-powered surveillance and Smart City companies. I founded Chipscape in 2006 with a simple conviction: technology should make cities safer, smarter, and more accountable. Today, that conviction powers Safe City deployments across six Indian cities, in partnership with Honeywell and NEC. What we do: Chipscape designs and deploys end-to-end AI surveillance and Smart City platforms — from edge computing hardware to command centre software. Our solutions are live with state police departments, Smart City PMUs, and urban local bodies across India. What makes us different: We don’t just install cameras. We build intelligence into infrastructure — ANPR, facial recognition, traffic management, and real-time command & control — purpose-built for India’s scale, budget, and complexity. Where we’re headed: Our next chapter is the CS-EDGE product line — a Made-in-India AI edge computing platform designed for ITMS, Safe City nodes, and Smart City command infrastructure. Built on NVIDIA Jetson and Rockchip SoCs, designed for Indian government deployments. I’m also a member of the FICCI Committee on Urban Development and a director at Capulus Technologies, which powers police technology solutions including the KSP App (1.5M+ users) and Karnataka Police’s MCCTNS infrastructure.
