• Responsible for increasing plant stability, improving production throughput while minimising scrap to less than 5% for all areas. • Assisting operators, maintenance and quality control department to maintain product grade. Ensure that detail design methods, standards and data used meet the client’s requirements and/or those issued by the company. • Conduct pilot tests based on R&D recommendations to improve the quality of the product for OEM and aftermarket customers. Fully designed plant processes (effluent water treatment) etc. • Carefully organized, analysed and prepared technical data reports to ensure proper workflow and productivity. • Ran operational tests on systems and equipment by analysing the data obtained from systems to reinforce proper processes and remedy malfunctions. • Prepare process specification for instrumentation and control, including control narratives, for review and approval by the Process Engineering and Plant Manager. • Updated and created work instructions, boundary samples, PFMEA and Control Plans as well as Hazop studies and risk analysis for newly commissioned machinery as well as older machinery. • Elected as SHE rep to ensure safe working conditions while consulting with the SHE coordinator. • Coordinating departments like maintenance, electrical and quality to reduce the down time to increase production. • Overseeing of graduates and process students. • Create and implement suggestions to save company money and/or reduce production down time and scrap.

• Design, plan and perform process experiments and plant trials. • Take samples of products and perform chemical and physical analysis. • Investigate and characterize process problems • Identify and implement solutions to process problems. • Determine and verify process parameters and specifications. • Calculate and specify pumps, pipes, flows, pressures, temperatures, materials and other process parameters. • Draught and update process flow diagrams. • Design manufacturing processes and optimize current flows and mechanical processes. • Update work instructions and train production staff ensuring optimum efficiency • Participate in process engineering projects and ensure continuous improvement • Six sigma or 8D tops needed for problem solving and corrective actions • Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate fast improvements.
