* Gaining a vast amount of experience in the customer interface side of banking. * Understanding the importance of risk management, compliance and attention to detail. * Managing my own client base, catering to their stated and unstated needs. * Maintaining a high customer service provided in the branch ensuring targets are met and exceeded. * Performing lending risk assessments, ensuring that any potential business is the right type for the group. * Complying with the FCA and FSCS rules and regulations.

* Serving Customers transacting in branch, identifying and meeting any potential needs they have. * Maintaining the highest possible level of customer service, deepening customer relationships. * Minimize any clearing or cash errors and investigate any in order to rectify. * Meet and exceed sales targets through lead generation at the counter.

* Ensure any applications created get completed to high standards and meet regulations as well as being completed in a realistic timescale for our customers benefit. Within this role I had to be organised as we could have quite a lot of applications to process. * Responsible for verifying customers income details and any ID they needed to provide. * Call customer to inform them of the stages of the application. I had to make sure customer service is at a high level and the customer is happy with all the information provided to them.

I worked in New Look while studying as a Shop Assistant showing my ability to adapt to any sales environment and my aptitude for excellent customer service. It was a challenging role, with a rigorous training programme, and required an ability to engage with customers. Working both behind tills and also on the shop floor.
