Supported clients in securing leases with low-barrier Section 8 properties, educated clients about a wide range of housing vouchers and other types of subsidized housing, created strong relationships with landlords throughout the Denver-Metro area, utilization of HMIS, provided supportive services to clients while in housing, maintained accurate and detailed notes for grant funding.

Assessed complex needs of a wide range of clients by providing resources and trauma informed care. Used client centered, strength-based approaches when working with clients to achieve goals. Coordinated services between community partners in Denver, knowledge of database systems including HMIS, daily client notes, provide referrals, knowledge of a wide range of housing programs and supportive services.

Supported guests during their residency to maintain schedules, resolve conflicts, and learn skills that are essential to maintaining housing. Called relevant services to guests needs and safety including paramedics, mental health lines, and police.

Provided therapeutic interventions for parents in a court ordered setting, providing a safe environment for children who have suffered from abuse by their parents, interventions when necessary. Other tasks include editing interns case notes, updating tracking sheets, writing case notes, and relevant admin tasks.
