* Responsible for mentoring and overseeing Engineer-In-Training’s within the Measurement Engineering Group; signing off on their project design and procedures * Involved with the yearly Measurement Engineering budget process and providing information for the overall company budget * Working with external vendors and clients to maintain positive working relationships and standard designs for the Measurement Engineering Group * Managing the Group’s workload by assigning projects and information requests to the group members * Maintaining and improving internal processes between the various groups that Measurement Engineering interacts with, such as the other engineering groups, Purchasing, Operations, Land, Construction, Graphics, Standards & Environment, System Control and Human Resources * Project Management as outlined below

* Designed research trials of new welding parameters and procedures with the Manager of the Metallurgical and Quality Assurance Department * Performed statistical and data analysis of results from trials within the mill * Completed technical writings for pipe mill procedures, background of steel manufacturing and final reports of the research trials

Oversees a team of six technical leads, Project Controller, Scheduler, Estimator, Procurement, Accountant and Project Assistant for numerous smaller scale projects for major oil and gas clients. - Responsible for project proposals, cost tracking, scheduling procurement, man-hour requirements and all project related needs. - Acts as the main point of contact between the client and the internal team.
