CNG fuel system division of Worthington Industries (formly dHybrid from Trevor Milton of Nikola Motors) -Designed fuel systems and structures that support high pressure carbon fiber tanks in a weight sensitive and cost competitive market, ensuring industry standards were met. -Integrated new product lines into the Worthington MRP system, ensuring complete and correct documentation. -Wrote powder coat specifications to control the quality of product finish and corrosion protection.

-Heavy duty axle and component design for the off-road industry. This includes differential housings, brakes, drive shafts, knuckles, hub lockers and wheel hubs. -Developed a hydraulic press and fixture that will reduce assembly time by approximately half.

-Designed new surface coring drill rigs used in mineral exploration, while ensuring engineering and safety standards were met. Maintained current product by providing technical support and failure analysis in an effort to exceed the needs of the customer. -Quickly learned new products as engineering support was moved from Perth, Australia to Salt Lake City, Utah. -Improved drawing quality and legibility while overseeing project to convert drawings from metric/Australian materials to imperial/US materials for production in North America.

-Provided service support for high horsepower engines used in mining. Communicated recurring failures to Cummins engineers to assist in improving product quality. -Interpreted oil analysis results and set guidelines for appropriate levels of elements found within oil samples, preventing catastrophic engine failure of high cost engines.

-Designed new suspensions from concept to production. Evaluated industry needs, created concepts, kinematic studies, load analysis, 3D design, DFMEA, costing, finite element analysis (FEA), and wrote test procedures. -Maintained current products by evaluating field failures, determining cost reduction strategies, processing production change requests and troubleshooting production issues. -Reduced cost and weight of a mature product by 10% by the use of creative design and FEA. -Gained a reputation from customers for being an expert in troubleshooting pneumatic circuits. -Clearly communicated concepts to large groups to ensure feasibility and product acceptance. -Designed many competitive, low cost products that have gained a reputation in the industry for high reliability. This was achieved by creating simple designs and spending efforts upfront to eliminate problems later on.
