Communications liaison for Harborview s $293 million dollar expansion project (construction of the NJB and Maleng and Pat Steel Buildings). Created strategies and media for the needs of the local community and HMC staff, which conveyed a consistent and positive image of HMC and the Bond Project. Wrote and edited reports, manuals, proposals, presentations and publications. Generated copy for web pages, brochures, newsletters, flyers, and other collateral materials, including maps, posters, wayfinding documentation, and phone scripts. Designed layout for brochures, signage, and forms. Determined, recommended and arranged appropriate methods for dissemination of this material. Attended neighborhood meetings as Bond Project representative, and made regular monthly in-person calls on neighboring apartment buildings and businesses to answer questions and respond to construction-related issues.

As the primary resource to a highly-sought and influential executive in a dynamic healthcare environment, I anticipated and responded to all of the Executive Director s needs and served as the initial point of contact and front-line resource for all internal and external customers, including executives, clinical faculty, patients and families, and representatives of local and national organizations and government agencies.
