Primary task is to dramatically enhance the revenue of the housewares division by engaging more co-creation items with specific customers. Supervise a team of 8 in house engineers & designers and 15 UK freelance designers to maximize the ODM business and support the needs from OEM items. I have also collaborate with 5 universities in UK and Netherlands to incorporate design competitions into the course modules in order to source good freelancers and look for talented designers to HK for placement program

Work as a Senior Program Manager in a new business unit to develop ODM and own brand products. I need to work with designers and US marketing team to develop new products in both consumer product and industrial product fields. I am responsible for all aspects of program management, including schedule planning, pricing & budget control, resources planning and supplier management. As it is a new business unit for the company, I am also responsible to create SOPs for new product development as well as logistic flow.

As a Program Manager in a leading American wagon, trike and rides-on company. I am responsible for getting the design concept from designers in Chicago headquarter and realizing those requirements into actual mass production with our strategic partnership OEM suppliers in China. During the whole process, I have to manage closely the workflow between US designers, OEM suppliers (in Guangdong Province and some are all the way up to Northern China near NingBo), various internal departments and my local engineering team to ensure on time, on cost and high quality deliveries. Beside product development, I am also responsible to provide coaching to develop the fellow project engineers through setting SMART goals and personal development plans. Leading programs to develop and improve the internal workflow and SOPs among departments are also my major tasks

As a Project Engineer in a highly regarded consumer good OEM company for 6 years. For the first year, I was an engineering trainee and received trainings from different departments (engineering, tooling making, costing, purchasing, production planning, QA & QC, etc). After that I joined the engineering department as a Project Engineer and have leaded a lot of projects, like toy projects from brand name toy companies, home appliance projects from oversea customers and even heavy duty industrial power tool projects. I directly report to senior project manager and leaded a team of engineers to work closely with inter-departments, suppliers and oversea customers for new project design and development from conceptual stage ID or prototypes, feasibility studies on cost and technical, detail engineering drawing, kick off meeting, tool building, engineering debugging, product compliance testing and all the way to mass production
