Developed the full lifecycle of engaging, web-based, learner-centered ID solutions from analysis to publication for internal sellers, external partners, and customers. Collaborated with data protection, cybersecurity, and migration solution SMEs and stakeholders to extract information for the development and delivery of 40+ modules of accurate and informative cross-functional online courses, microlessons, and assessments. Generated and published e-learning courses as SCORM 1.2 files to the LMS (Litmos) and ran reports for metrics analysis. Co-chaired the Quest Minds Neurodiversity Employee Resource Group (ERG), which included leading monthly meetings, co-hosting live company-wide events, managing the annual budget, and working cross-functionally with other Quest ERGs. Trained and mentored the technical writers assigned to my previous position. Supported instructor-led breakout sessions at the annual Quest sales kickoff event.

Documented new features and enhancements for more than 30 Microsoft Windows and Linux-based data protection applications, including NetVault and QoreStor. Researched, defined, designed, and created online Knowledge Management content on help.aol.com, servicing over 35M customers and millions of page views. Managed project for creating product-specific Help sites for 11 AOL proprietary brands. Researched and revised more than 1,250 existing Help articles. Parsed customer comments for common pain points that required attention. Defined processes for maintaining an image library system for all screen shots to support article creation.

Coordinated and planned descriptions for new commercial-architecture, sustainable-architecture, lighting-design and audiovisual products to be featured in trade publications’ print editions, websites and e-newsletters for Pro AV, Architect, Architectural Lighting, Eco-Structure. Conducted interviews and wrote case studies about audiovisual installations for Pro AV magazine. Researched current trends, collected product specifications, and wrote introductions for the buyer’s guide section of Pro AV magazine. Researched and located industry experts to interview in order to write short articles about industry trends and technologies. Managed the freelance writer of Architect magazine’s bi-annual Product Spec Guide. Authored “Seeing the Light” feature for Architectural Lighting magazine. Maintained and selected high-resolution photography to accompany and compliment articles. Interviewed vendors, attended press conferences and represented Hanley Wood publications at eight international industry trade shows.

Managed all visual and editorial presentation for House Beautiful Houses & Plans, House Beautiful Premier Homes, Luxury Home Design, American Dream Homes. Copyedited and proofread house plan data sheets and front-of-book content for consumer-facing house plan catalogs. Wrote promotional house plan descriptions, introductions and feature copy.

Managed all visual and editorial presentation for Country’s Best Log Homes and Luxury Log Homes & Timber Frame. Originated a feature column entitled “Reader’s Log” highlighting reader-submitted, homemade, log projects. Recorded and organized freelance contracts, invoices and photography. Wrote feature-length articles based on interviews with homeowners and manufacturer representatives. Edited marketing materials for and co-hosted the Country’s Best Log Home & Timber Frame Show.
