Dr. Abramson’s research was to design new potent drugs to treat heart failure by modifying a drug’s electron donor/acceptor properties. My responsibility was to test the electron donor/acceptor properties of drugs that Dr. Abramson was interested in, using UV-Vis spectrophotometer. I prepared the working solutions, carried out the experiments, recorded and analyzed the data as well as prepared the reports.

* Operate and set-up of the Perkin Elmer ELAN 6000 DRC ICP-MS and Nexion350 ICP-MS for the analysis of Trace Metals Ultrapure Water, Chemicals, Wafers, and Tool Components. * Perform sample preparation of acid and base solutions, solvents, poly-silicons for trace metal analysis using ICP-MS * Perform preparation of standards for Quadrupole ICP-MS * Perform preparation of silicon wafers for trace metal analysis using VPD-ICP-MS * Perform preparation of ultrapure water for trace metal analysis using ICP-MS * Perform titration analysis on acid and base samples, by manual, auto-titration and spectrophotometry methods. * Perform analysis of slurry samples for specific gravity. * Perform pH analysis using the Brinkmann Metrohm 716 DMS Titrino System * Perform analysis of moisture in organic solvents used in semiconductor processing.
