Group Executive @ Telstra
About
As the Group Executive, Network, Product and Technology, I am leading Telstra’s shift to Network as a Product – reimagining the network as a programmable, customer‑centric capability that enables differentiated experiences and new growth. I joined Telstra in January 2020 as the Product & Technology Group Executive. In 2022, I added Software Engineering & IT and Data & AI to my portfolio, accelerating the company’s transition to an AI‑first, software‑centric organisation. In 2026 my remit was expanded to include Telstra’s leading wireless and fixed networks, cyber security, and cloud infrastructure. I champion an API‑first approach, composable architecture and simplification across the business to unlock speed, scale and innovation. I'm also the Co‑Chair of TM Forum’s Autonomous Networks industry group, working with global peers to advance the future of programmable, intelligent networks. Before joining Telstra, I was Senior Vice President and Head of Global Technology Strategy at Telenor Group. I started my career in the Danish Army where I served as an officer for 13 years. I'm currently based in Sydney with my wife and three daughters.

Quantum computing won’t just change how we use, process and understand information. It will also allow us to create faster, more efficient computers that will quickly become the world’s most powerful artificial intelligence machines. Silicon Quantum Computing’s vision is to make this happen for the betterment of humankind. By creating technology at the cutting edge of science, and by using it in ways that are life enhancing, human-centred and world changing. SQC’s foundation intellectual property was developed at the Australian Centre of Excellence for Quantum Computation and Communications Technology (CQC2T). Led by a team of brilliant thinkers, including 2018 Australian of the Year Professor Michelle Simmons AO and her colleagues Professors Sven Rogge, Andrew Dzurak and Andrea Morello, CQC2T produced many ‘World firsts’. These included the longest coherence times; highest fidelity qubits in a solid state; the ability to optically address single dopant atoms in silicon; the lowest noise silicon devices; and the first two 2 qubit gate in silicon.

Head of Operations at Telenor DK

The TELCO market in Denmark is probably one of the most competitive markets in the World. We decided two years ago to change the strategy. We decided to differentiate from our competitors because we realized that the current situation were unsustainable. We decided to be Best in Service and create Denmarks Network No. 1. Today we have the best Network and our NPS (Net Promoter Score) improve day by day. My main focus is to change the culture and secure that the Network is the fundament for the whole turn around. Today we have established network sharing with another operator and we work intensely with development, optimization and operations. We operate our network in a customer centric way and have implemented a new customer centric culture. Every day we get direct NPS feedback from our customers so we make sure, that we operate the network with an outside-in-philosophy. Two years ago when I started in the Network Division the perception in Denmark was that Telenor had a poor network - today the perception is the opposite. This new Network positions in Denmark is achieved by massive work with the network but also with a PR Network roadmap and an aggressive commercial, network campaign. We will be Loved by Customers!
