Under the direction of the CNO, provides 24/7 operational and administrative oversight of the patient care units under area of responsibility. Provided managerial/administrative supervision of the nursing department, which provides care/service across the continuum in a manner that, demonstrates an understanding of the functional and/or developmental age of the individual(s) served.

* Responsible for the overall administrative management of all clinical departments, including nursing at Wayne HealthCare. * Duties include: * Overseeing effective day-to-day operations, short & long range planning, strategic marketing & business plan development to ensure marketplace competitiveness * Development of new services and programs, effective fiscal management, effective quality improvement & quality control processes * Recommending & implementing innovative organizational structures & delivery models which support the safe & effective provision of patient care, treatment & services * Development & support of a practice environment
