Kiara Terrero

With a strong interest in street fashion, I started working with local fashion brands, models and local NYC natives. As I took on more projects, I found myself developing creative concepts for fashion brands, based on their objectives in launching new product lines. I've had the opportunity to work with some of the top creative fashion designers and brands in my generation representing the Latin culture, such as Viva La Bonita, Bronx Native and Despierta. My body of work has expanded into more personal work, concerts and productions. For a young career, I've had the opportunity to work with major brands such as Cadillac and FILA and work on major productions and music videos and major concerts with celebrity artists. What's most important in my work is that I capture the true essence of the subject and tell a story through my work. Whether it's shooting strangers at the park or shooting a brand shoot with models. My focus is to take the viewer on a journey through my photos and ensure to bring out the authentic side of the subject matter I am shooting. Growing up in New York City, I am surrounded by diversity and culture. This dynamic city touches all senses and its was the driving force of wanting to become a photographer to capture moments to share story telling moments.
