Brought a new business plan aimed at generating greater profit from selling branded merchandise.The plan was focused around the kiosk at the United Nations. During the internship I performed the following duties and responsibilities: Created a business plan intended to increase sales. Developed a new product strategy. Established relations with new vendors and analyzed cost effectiveness. Managed manufacturing overseeing quality and accuracy of design. Improved the physical appearance of the kiosk by ordering new fixtures and making repair works. Recruited volunteers through online and network advertising. Planned training and regularly conducted orientation sessions. Directly supervised work of volunteers including scheduling, checking needed supplies, spreading important notifications and organizing meetings. Drafted recommendation letters. Created presentations and ideas for temporary promotions. Reported expenses/sales to WFUNA's Finance and Administration Officer. Represented WFUNA at the United Nations meetings and events.
