- Performs sea and port watchkeeping. - Repairs and overhauls equipment in Engine room and the Cranes. - Operates the ballast system and other liquid systems. - Monitors all pump lines, provision reefer, emergency pump lines and ship’s spare and stores. - Keep daily log of ongoing engineering work. - Carry out duties and responsibilities as laid down in the Shipboard Oil Pollution Emergency Plan (SOPEP). - Be familiar with all Company procedures, including the Safety Management System. - Reporting of all observed vessel operational issues to the Bridge Officer and Chief Engineer.

Willing to travel <50%, including troubleshooting/fact-finding visits onboard vessels in different ports ( Jordan - Syria ).
