As a summer intern, I worked in a Scrum (Agile) team-based environment to: * Investigate the function of an old mainframe application & provide detailed documentation and suggestions to the team * Take analysis "deep dives" to evaluate database structure, frontend user flow, etc., and present findings to team leadership * Create, in a full-stack development role, an internal web application that would replace and enhance the existing mainframe screens * Utilized such frameworks as Angular 2, Spring MVC, Kraken CSS, and TestNG testing in development, as well as Git for version control

I was a core member of Shelton High School's acclaimed robotics team throughout my four years there. I was entrusted with writing increasingly difficult software from manipulation of robotic appendages, to frequency-domain movement control systems using Laplace transforms, to camera vision targeting and processing algorithms. Our team placed very well in regional and international competition, winning several awards for software and design. I also spearheaded Team 230's involvement for the KPCB Entrepreneurship Award, creating from scratch the team's incredibly successful business plan. Under my leadership, Team 230's business plan won at the Northeast Regional event two consecutive years, both times qualifying to compete at the international level.
