Kevin Walker

OnePlan Solutions was spun out of Wicresoft in October 2020. As VP of Professional Services, I was responsible for the operations and growth strategy for the global professional services team and was part of the senior leadership team for OnePlan Solutions.

After the Wicresoft acquisition of Agora Consulting Partners, Kevin has assumed the role of VP, Canada for Wicresoft. In this capacity Kevin was responsible for the operations and growth strategy for Wicresoft in Canada and was part of the global leadership team for Wicresoft.

As President I was responsible for creating and executing a strategic plan that encompassed every aspect of the business. I have worked with local businesses to generate tens of thousands of dollars in sponsorships and corporate partnerships. I have also worked extensively with all levels of municipal government on policy affecting our club. Leading a team of dedicated volunteers and staff, we executed on a four-year turnaround journey that has resulted in the club winning the Provincial Championship, Eastern National Championship, Women's National Championship, and sending twelve athletes to the 2016 Olympic Trials.

At Agora I have worked with dozens of business, some small and just starting and some of the world’s largest enterprises, to help shape their businesses through the use of technology. My ability to offer assistance to my clients on both business and technology issues is a key differentiator. Some recent notable client work that I am most proud of: • Successfully created a joint venture with an Australian company that led to the development of an end-to-end online digital print platform that served several of Canada’s largest retail brands. At its peak the solution serviced the highest volume online commerce site in Canada. • Architected and led the development team for a white labelled registration system that services over 2,000 organizations in North America and was designed to handle massive registration bursts. • Over the course of 10+ years I have liaised with major financial regulatory organizations such as CIPF, IIROC, MFDA, and DICO to design and develop a significant number of the applications used to audit the Canadian investment and mutual fund industries. As Chief Technology Officer at Agora I am also responsible for developing and overseeing an effective IT structure which includes policies, procedures, and standards. I am responsible for the annual IT operating and capital budgets.

In my role as a Senior Consultant and Technology Director I was responsible for the design and development of custom software solutions. As a pioneer in web and database development I assisted many of our clients launch some of the first database enabled web applications in Canada. While at Sage I was instrumental in the expansion of the start-up to be the first Microsoft Gold Certified Partner in Canada and then led the expansion of the business into New York. I participated in the strategy that led to the business being acquired by a publicly traded organization. During my years at Sage I was a frequent speaker at Dev Days and other industry conferences.

I was instrumental in the creation of a Microsoft development practice in the Toronto office. I provided technology solutions to clients in Canada, United States, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago. I was promoted rapidly from Associate to Senior Consultant and was recognized repeatedly by Partners as a top performer.
