I won the battle over commas I mentioned in my previous role, it seems. DBT + Tableau + Prefect + (some) Python

I spend most of my time convincing my teammates to put commas at the beginning of their column names. Don't think I am winning.

Built and manage a data pipeline featuring: Python + S3 + Docker + ECS + Stitch/Singer.io + Redshift + getDBT.com • Deployed and manage our Tableau Server instance (100+ users), while building and maintaining all of our BI reports. • Responsible for sales, retention and upsell analytics.

• Worked closely with data directors across traditional public and charter districts to define the technical and analytical needs of each district’s high-impact education objectives across multiple data domains (enrollment, attendance, test achievement, grades, behavior, and more) • Worked with district leaders across traditional public and charter districts to develop, plan and implement change management strategies to aid in the development and/or growth of their data driven culture • Designed and implemented large portfolio of Tableau data visualizations answering specific and detailed analytic questions posed by large traditional districts, charter networks, school funders, and non-profit organizations • Provided on-demand reporting for clients, creating Tableau data visualizations, developing slide decks for presentation, and authoring talking points around analytical findings • Conducted 1:1 and group technical trainings for data directors across school districts on proprietary data structures, tenants of data organization/transformation, and design/execution of Tableau data visualizations including performance optimization coaching • Created custom data structures, conducted ETL process in SQL to populate these structures with data from various raw sources (SSIS, csv, json, etc.) and built interactive data visualizations in Tableau addressing district specific analytical needs • Developed SQL (MS SQL) data transformation procedures, focusing on data cleaning and data modeling of complex data sources into client data warehouse tables

• Built a data-management solution for the agency’s Academic Case Management program at elementary school sites which transitioned paper and pencil tracking of over 1000 students . • Coordinated the development of a two-week STEM Summer Camp, catalyzing collaboration between 5 different agency sites as well as a hosting outside organization. • Developed best-practice handbooks for the agency’s Peacemaker program, leading training and implementation of new processes for teams across 16 sites • Designed the framework for a parent engagement pipeline to mirror the student Cradle to College pipeline.
