The Riata Fellows Program is a core component of the university-wide entrepreneurship initiative, where the entrepreneurial mindset and core entrepreneurship concepts are applied to disciplines across the campus. Launched in December of 2009, the program offers a unique opportunity for entrepreneurial faculty from any discipline or academic area to be jointly appointed in the School of Entrepreneurship. Fellows are typically appointed for 2 to 3 years to work on research, curriculum development or outreach initiatives that link their home discipline to entrepreneurship.

MOD-ECO Design is a new business venture (created from MOD-ECO Architecture which began in 2003) that will be based at 307 E. Division Street in the former Atlman Bottling Building. MOD-ECO Design's primary business offering is sustainable and innovative architecture and design. MOD-ECO Design is committed to optimizing the relationships between academics and industry, academics and community and design innovation and industry application. A collaborative partnership of MOD-ECO Design LLC with the Franciscan Collaborative Ministries through the Northside Asset Development Initiative (NADI) is focused on innovative "green" business and "green" work force development.
