In 2020 from 1 August my Job Title changed to Product specialist, and for the month of August until further Notice I was granted the opportunity to fill the position of a Product Manager.

In 2019 I had the opportunity to fill a acting Coordinators position for 2 months. I had the same opportunity in 2020 were I was given the opportunity to to fill the position of an Acting Coordinator for 6 months.

In 2018 the opportunity came my why to apply for a Supervisor Position at ESS dept 214 within Schauenburg. My application got accepted and I then moved over to ESS dept 214.

In 2016 Northam Plats bought Schauenburg surface Scas, The Schauenburg Scas were divided into sections having small portions at the Concentrator/Smelter/Chrome plant/Shaft. My workload grew more and also had more junior technicians to delegate the work to.

In 2014 I got transferred back to Northam plats mine, where the shaft grew more and certain values I possessed needed to be coached to the technicians onsite, At this time Northam plats became the first mine using Hydro power mining methods. Having Hydro power as your main source of mining called for special measures when coming to maintenance, extra skill was required to seal our products to make sure we keep a good standard. In this same period mentioned above we equipped the mine with a full asset tracking solution which also became my responsibility to maintain, I also had the responsibility to do a daily check on the asset tracking system ensuring all the controllers under are online and tracking.

In 2006 I engaged with Schauenburg as a technician in the Thabazimbi area at Northam plats. Time passed by and Schauenburg grew at the site and I became responsible for maintaining the viro-caps/enviros/caplamps/locolites. With this my repsonsibility also grew in terms of sorting out the invoicing seeing the clients more often and keeping a good relationship with the mine as a whole. I also gained more repsonsibility with more technicians that started after me, coaching them and handing over certain products and just keeping a hand over them. In this period working for Schauenburg I got transferred to Swartklip mine still within the Thabazimbi district. Here I had the responsibility over 5 shaft, having the same products as mentioned before but the loco-lites, I also had to do more invoicing and see more clients to keep a good relationship with the mine group as a whole from a Schauenburg perspective.
