Import & Export Compliance * Advise Division Admin on standard I/E process & support them in urgent cast solution * Review import tax payment request for accuracy * Develop & update I/E related policy & procedure & provide training to Division Admin * Conduct audit of I/E transactions to ensure full compliance with Custom regulation * Local Export Control Officer & handle SAP GTS block release for Chinese orders Logistics Supplier Management * Set & monitor meaningful KPI for locally used logistic suppliers (Warehouse Outbound & Inbound processing time, On-time domestic delivery, custom clearance cycle time, damage ratio, etc…), and identify opportunities for continuous improvement * Monitor & follow up on complaints raised against logistic providers, and take corrective actions Service parts inventory management * Handle monthly stock reconciliation with Warehouse operator & investigate cause of discrepancy * Monthly monitor the loaned out parts status & work with Division to minimize aged parts > 60days * Work with divisions to handle physical inventory disposal or return to factories * Assist Accounting & External Auditor on annual inventory physical count Procurement * Develop and implement indirect material and service sourcing plan * Identify, research and evaluate suppliers; analyze supplier bids, tenders, proposals, or quotations; negotiate prices and delivery requests to acquire Bruker’s best interest; * Review contracts, agreements or other documents to co-ordinate purchasing activities Liaison between internal customers and external suppliers * Monitor & follow up on disputes (quality, delivery, etc..)with suppliers, and take corrective actions * Review & approve the release of PO (excluding local items) to vendors * Negotiate & review annual supplier contracts * Set & monitor meaningful KPI in the Procurement and identify opportunities for continuous improvement * Supplier relationship management;

 Facilitate and interpret a detailed understanding of customers’ requirements on supply chain  Provide solution review and adjustment to meet customers’ requirement for operation optimization  Undertake complex data analysis using appropriate software tools like cost analysis ,network analysis, headcount analysis and facility layout design  RFQ responding for critical and strategic customers and projects  Provide timely, accurate pricing proposal and maintain profit margin.  Provide full set of advanced consultancy project to customer when it is required; and act as project manager to control overall process and results,including the SOW,SLA, SOP and Contingency plan negotiation and execution .  Act as solution design leader in customers’ meeting to express overall solution . Prepare presentation/proposal materials on solutions design part for critical/strategic customers  Facilitate customer’s product flow by identifying most suitable and efficient business model  Develop facility layout to catch space requirement for the operation  Cooperate with IT/Procurement/Security department for appropriate solution and costing  Build up comprehensive cost model to simulate total project budget  In charge of the implementation plan and training the operation team for the project smoothly go live, finish the audit work and KPI review with the client .  Maintain contact with all clients in the region, ensure high client satisfaction.

 Lead a team for 8HC in Tianjin and 10HC in Shenzhen , monitor the team members’ performance and where necessary, undertake steps /training, etc, to raise the team members’ performance.  Take initiatives to ensure teams’ adherence and smooth operation of client’s standard operating procedures (SOP) in line with scorecard  Optimize container utilization rates and undertake analysis studies in this area when needed  Liaising with ocean carrier, local vendors on undesirable practices and taking the necessary discussions to resolve these challenges  Ensure the team is adequately staffed and trained to handle estimated operational volume for the financial year  Cross team and department coordination
