Relocated to Brooklyn from San Francisco, continuing a full service studio including editorial and commercial photography that occasionally bridges into designing and producing websites.

Owned and operated a fully equipped studio with staff. Working knowledge of all camera formats (digital and film based), strobe and tungsten lighting equipment. Proficient with Creative Suite. Intermittently designed and produced websites. Comfortable knowledge of HTML, CSS and SEO. Corporate clients included Adobe Systems, Applied Materials, Cannes Ad Festival, Deloitte & Touche, Nike, Oracle, Polaroid, Seagate, Silicon Graphics, and Visa. Editorial clients included 7x7, Bloomberg, Child, Entertainment Weekly, Esquire, Family Life, Forbes, GQ, LA Times, Latina, Living Fit, Men's Health, Men's Fitness, Men's Journal, New York Times, Reader's Digest, Village Voice, and Yoga Journal.

A side project utilizing a turn-of-the-century 11 x 14 inch wood camera for taking black & white portraits of subjects in and around Brooklyn.

Collaborated with my writer wife on a weekly feature for a local NYT blog. This involved interviews and portraits of random personalities on our local beat.

Photography for Design: Instruction on basic camera functions and the fundamentals of photography and how they relate to design.

Contracted for various projects as Photoshop technician. Responsibilities included photo retouching, page layout and production.

In charge of several accounts, often involving teams. Design and production of printed brochures, catalogs, and ads from concept to press proofs. Art directed photography shoots for major furniture campaign. Designed a trade showroom, and industrial videos for major fiber company. Clients included BASF Corporation, Kimberly Clark, Neenah Papers, and Thonet Furniture.
