I am a mining executive with extensive experience leading teams to successfully develop, operate, and provide technical services support to mining operations. Specializing in operational risk management, leading teams to overcome complex mining challenges has been a common theme in my career. In my most recent role, I collaborated with the Chief Information Officer, Senior Vice President-Business Transformation, Vice President of Digital Technology, and business units to lead an enterprise-wide technology transformation initiative. As a mining leader, one of my most rewarding experiences was leading the mining talent and technical networks in developing, coaching, and mentoring young engineers and ensuring career development opportunities were planned well. Over the years, I have had opportunities to diversify, grow, and evolve my effectiveness by working in both traditional and non-traditional roles. In doing so, I have helped form business strategies to support driving safety improvements, business/financial improvements, multi-level regulatory applications, stakeholder management (Indigenous and NGO), new mine developments, and capital portfolio management.
