Attraction Show Control Developer and Technical Lead for the Show Control Library, an internal TwinCAT PLC library for developing Show Control Software to monitor and operate various Attractions world-wide. • Manage requirements, development, and release testing of Show Control Library • Analyze and test new software versions/features for adoption into Show Control Library • Design, develop, and deploy PLC applications that manage and monitor Show critical systems to guarantee Show system safety, ensure overall Show quality, and provide system maintenance interfaces/controls to Attraction Operators. • Design internal web interfaces for Attraction Maintenance and Operations personnel to monitor and control Show and Animatronic systems using TwinCAT HMI. I also worked on project teams to develop next-generation Animatronic Control Software platforms, Real-time Animation Library (TwinCAT/C++ on Windows) and DANCER (C++/Python on Linux). • Designed and implemented Collision Detection component and visualization tool of Real-time Animation Library using C++ with Bullet Physics and Panda 3D integration. • Developed internal application tool to provide a GUI for generation of boiler plate application configurations using PyQt. • Performed field installation and integration of Animatronic Control Software for over 30+ Animatronic figures across Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland.

• Developed and optimized Python TCP server interface for remote monitoring and control of an air humidifier running on a Linux embedded system • Developed Python scripts for product research, development, and production testing • Designed production test fixtures to automate product testing processes, methods, and data collection • Generated BOMs and product documentation according to industry standards such as ASME • Drafted and executed Engineering tests and document results in technical reports to develop and improve products and processes • Delivered customer support including technical consulting and software testing/development

The overall team objective was to design a solar energy storage system that would power a hydrogen production cycle. The focus of the project was to incorporate thermal energy storage using molten metals and energy transfer using phase changes. In a team of two: • Researched thermal energy storage and phase change energy transfer dynamics and materials • Designed thermal energy storage prototype in a two-person team • Constructed lab-scale model demonstration of phase change thermal energy storage for concept feasibility with Paraffin Wax and Ethanol
