Focal point for bespoke consulting agent activities, including requirements capture, design, development, and documentation. • Managed team that created a set of Perl modules enabling consistent VCS Agent development (collectively referred to as the ACC Library). This is cross-platform, supporting Solaris, RHEL, AIX, HP-UX, and Windows enterprise environments. • Provided engineering-level support of all ACC based agents to the Symantec Technical Support organization • Designed both Online-Upgrade and Rolling-Upgrade procedures • Transitioned support of all agents and Perl modules to the Symantec VCS Agent Engineering team in Pune, India • Developed VCS Audit and Health-check software

Solution design, implementation, acceptance test, and skills transfer on High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Replication, SAN, and Storage Management solutions to customers throughout Europe.

Architectural leadership for Amdahl's High Availability Solaris based solutions. Developed High Availability toolset comprised of software libraries, utilities, and full documentation. Also conducted seminars on the toolset. Delivered many customized HA implementations that consistently increased both hardware and services revenue streams.

Provided worldwide 3rd-level back-line support for Amdahl's mainframe UNIX and Solaris-based enterprise server solutions (follow-the-sun support model). Delivered technical presentations to customers and Amdahl Regional support personnel.

Provided worldwide senior-level support for Amdahl's mainframe SVR4 UNIX (UTS). Developed, tested, and implemented bug fixes at both the kernel and utility levels. Liaised with engineering on permanent fixes and applying these to customer's business critical mainframe systems. Major accomplishments include: - Developed installation software-set for the Amdahl UNIX-based front-end processor - Developed a high-volume keystroke generator for a stress tests of the same - Developed and documented the recovery mechanisms and procedures.
