Kevin Bainbridge, C.E.T.

Kevin Bainbridge, C.E.T., Robinson Consultants Inc. (RCI), is the Executive Vice President and Senior Principal for RCI’s Hamilton office. Kevin has over 29 years experience in Project Management and Water/Wastewater Engineering, including Trenchless Technology, Asset Management Operations, Infrastructure Planning and Construction Management.

Kevin Bainbridge, C.E.T., Robinson Consultants Inc. (RCI), is the Vice President and Senior Principal for RCI’s Hamilton office. Kevin has over 27 years experience in Project Management and Water/Wastewater Engineering, including Trenchless Technology, Asset Management Operations, Infrastructure Planning and Construction Management. Kevin has authored or co-authored over 30 papers and spoken at over 50 industry conferences and seminars on the subjects of infrastructure asset management, buried infrastructure assessment and trenchless rehabilitation technologies. He is also a trainer for NASTT’s Introduction to Trenchless Rehabilitation course and Lateral Rehabilitation course. In addition Kevin has provided training sessions nationally and internationally on the subjects of trenchless rehabilitation technologies and infrastructure asset management. Kevin is the past Chair of the Great Lakes, St. Lawrence and Atlantic Chapter (GLSLA) of the North American Society of Trenchless Technology (NASTT).

Kevin was the Project Director for the development, implementation and management of the City of Hamilton’s Watermain and Sewer Rehabilitation and Condition Assessment Programs, with an annual capital budget of over $12 million. The program included contract specifications and standards, rehabilitation technology review, project cost projections, and complimentary QA/QC program development. Contracts were developed as a three year performance based contract, including contractor qualification review with minimum competency requirements. In addition to the development of the programs, ongoing QA/QC management was completed over the term of the contracts. In Addition to the City's trenchless technology programs Kevin project directed and co-authored the City’s State of the Infrastructure reports in 2005 and 2009. These reports outlined the City’s current and projected state of infrastructure for numerous assets, including water, wastewater, roads, bridges and facilities. In addition to reporting the state of infrastructure, the report outlined the sustainable financial requirements and management practices the City should pursue. He also directed the development of the City`s Asset Management Plan and developed the City`s first comprehensive risk management framework for water distribution. He led a team of four full-time City staff and four independent consulting firms who were assigned specific assignments.
